The hiatus is over.

I've landed, arrived, I'm here. In Poland.

If you're reading this, you most likely know that I recently rode my custom Beaumont Bicycle, Poughkeepsie Mae, from The Hook of Holland to Grodów, in south west Poland, crossing the Netherlands and Germany along the way.

It. Was. Brilliant. THE best adventure I have ever been on. I rode through so many fantastic places and met so many lovely people.

But now, it's time to get down to business. Literally. However, it's not quite so straight forward.

I moved to Poland to join my partner and to see if I could make my little business work over here. Bristol was getting far too expensive for me and I would have had to give up the business, or turned it into a hobby, to keep it going and be able to afford to live there.

Poland is still relatively inexpensive and there are a lot of exciting things happening over here, bike-wise.

The plan is to keep a presence in the UK by heading back over every three-ish months, having built up orders in the lead up, to build for 1-2 weeks to fulfill all the orders. I have opportunities to work from Bristol, Nottingham and potentially London so will cycle through (no pun intended) the locations each visit.

Not sure when the next trip to the UK will be as, once my application for residency in Poland is submitted, I am required to remain in Poland for the duration of the process until I get my final decision from the voivodship.
